I give up. This English Lit syllabus is a fucking joke. The texts choose to be abstract and call it art but are too shallow for analysis, the contrasts between them are none existant, the constant emphais on men thinking only with their dicks has me about ready to slam out of each and every class I take and my teacher doesn't have the first clue how to teach Shakespeare! I had more understanding than her when I was twelve.

Urgh, sorry. I'm snowed under with essays that never get marked and I can't even string two sentances together any more. LJ got the force of my wrath...

I thought I'd get rid of incompetent teachers once I stopped studying wars, but no, apparently they'll let anyone teach English. I don't have a break for another two weeks either, so I'm stuck swimming through treacle and biting my tongue.

I'll shut up and get on with it now. Sorry. ♥
