I am trying to tax my car. Unless I tax my car, I can't drive her on the roads. I need to drive her on the roads to get to school.

Taxing my car means paying money to the Government. The Government thinks this is a good thing. The Government needs more money. Why are they making it so difficult therefore to tax my car?

*screams* I'mma use someone else's car, since I can't tax my car.

Urgh! It's the fact that government are always "we're going to change all the rules, not tell you about them, make it virtually impossible for you to follow them, and then punish you when you fail". Ngh! Even the Army is not this fucked up.

*snuggles up and fights with MOT certificates* Maybe I can give the papers to Nox to play with? They'll be more useful to her than me... ♥

:( How frustrating!

The Irish government isn't good at much, but they are great at making it easy to give them money. I pay my car tax online and it tells me exactly how much to pay and when. I have to book my NCT (annoying roadworthiness test) but I can't seem to summon up the energy to go into the hallway and get the damn slip. :)

In all fairness, when the tax online thing is working, it works very well.

Yeah, the fault was my MOT running out too, and I couldn't be bothered to uncurl myself and go seek out the paper work. All sorted now though, but I am paranoid I'm going to crash my stepdad's car. Someone already reversed into me this morning! *wibbles* ♥
